Dr. Jake Felice, ND, LMP
Jake F. Felice, ND, LMP is a cannabis author, clinician, educator and consultant whose vision is to advance the science and practical application of medical cannabis for medical and recreational markets around the world. Dr Felice provides world class hemp and cannabis education experiences by speaking authentically about hemp and cannabis. His Category 1 CME courses for doctors on the ECS have now been translated into four languages. Dr. Felice is the founder of Cannabis Matrix Consulting and advises dietary supplement and cannabis companies regarding optimal botanical product development.
Dr. Felice has consulted for major cannabis companies including for Willie Nelson’s brand, Tilray Inc., Manitoba Harvest, Smith & Sinclair, WorldLink Medical, Cannabis Basics, Medical Marijuana 411, Seattle Central College, The National University for Natural Medicine, the University of Las Vegas Nevada, the Academy of Cannabis Science, and the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine. He educates doctors, nurses, and cannabis professionals, including creating AMA approved CEU classes for physicians. As a consultant, advisor, and brand strategist, Dr. Felice provides scientific, marketing, public relations, and compliance advice for companies in emerging and existing cannabis markets.
Additionally, Dr. Felice writes content and develops educational videos for general cannabis education classes, conferences, and for the hemp and CBD industry. He creates presentations and webinars providing materials for industry professionals, students, the general public. Dr. Felice is a former Part-Time Faculty Member of the Cannabis Institute at Seattle Central College. He is on the advisory board for Cheeba Africa, and supporting expert for the Journal of Cannabinoid Medicine. He is a graduate of Bastyr University, and former adjunct professor where he taught Advanced Soft-Tissue Manipulation and Radiographic Lab Interpretation. Dr. Felice earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University where he played varsity lacrosse and majored in psychology, focusing on the study of peak human performance. His recent works on the endocannabinoid system have been published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, Holistic Primary Care, and Naturopathic Doctors News and Reviews, and Medical Cannabis Today.
Dr. Felice lived in Japan and Asia for six years, studying Zen-shiatsu, tai-chi, and earning a 3rd degree black belt in Aikido. He has performed thousands of hours of hands-on therapy, and combines his insights into the martial arts to gain a unique perspective on the connection between pain and the mind-body connection. Currently, Dr. Felice spends his time between WA state and Santa Barbara, CA where he enjoys surfing, a daily yoga practice, maintains his practice in WA state, and continues consulting nationally.
